Program Overview

Mariana Academy is proud to offer a fully funded ETO Cadet Scholarship for aspiring Electro-Technical Officers. Over the course of your training, you’ll receive:

• Classroom instruction in electrical, electronic, and instrumentation systems
• Hands-on labs with industry-standard equipment
• Onboard mentorship and sea-time practicals with our partner fleet
• A clear career pathway to certified Electro-Technical Officer roles

Candidate Profile & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following:
    • BS Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
    • BS Electronics Engineering (BSECE)
    • BS Industrial Technology, major in Electrical, Electronics, & Instrumentation

Experience & Age

• 21–30 years old
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in electrical/electronics maintenance, instrumentation, or a related field

Certifications & Training

• Basic Safety Training (BST) for Seafarers advantageous
• Must be medically fit for sea service (sea-service medical certificate)

Other Qualities

• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• Keen attention to safety and regulatory compliance
• Female cadets are encouraged to apply
